St Peter’s Church, Wrockwardine
We are incredibly proud of our strong links with St Peter’s Church, Wrockwardine. As a member of Lichfield Diocese of Church Schools, we continually work hard to develop our ‘Christian distinctiveness’. Christian values permeate and underpin our ethos and help bring our School Aims to life. As a church school we promote such values as respect, tolerance, care and consideration and we firmly believe that these values contribute significantly to the standards that we achieve and the behaviour and attitudes of our pupils.
We make regular visits to church, throughout the year, and this provides a lovely setting for some of our school and religious services.
Please follow the link below to St Peter’s Church website where you can find full details of weekly services and other important information, including a very interesting piece on the history of this beautiful church.
Church schools receive an additional inspection, carried out by Lichfield Diocsean Inspectors, once every five years. The focus of these inspections is to determine:
- How well the school, through its distinctive Christian character, meets the needs of all learners;
- What is the impact of collective worship on the school community;
- How effective are the leadership and management of the school as a church school.
Our school was last inspected in 2012 and received an Outstanding judgement in all areas. Our next inspection will be due in 2017. The previous SIAMS report is also included below.
